This week’s theme in our 52 on friday group is water and since we have been getting rain daily it seemed appropriate to capture for my post. Make sure to visit Illinois photographer, Christine Blaylock, to see what she came up with week. ♥

This week”s theme in my 52 on Fridays group is peace. and really got me thinking of where I find peace.
I find peace in my faith in the Lord and the knowledge that He is always there for me.
I find peace in a rumpled bed in the wee hours of the morning when the house is silent and still.
I think that life out in the country would be peaceful. With nothing but land and sky around you. The whisper of the wind through the trees, the laughter of my children at play and the creak of rocking chairs rocking on a wide back porch. Of course that is not my reality and to be honest I don’t know how long I would last without neighbors but I can dream right and in my dreams it is perfectly peaceful.
I can’t wait to see what Valleyview, Alberta Photographer, Jenn Duguay found peaceful this week. Make sure to visit her and see.
The weather has finally embraced spring and I am enjoying the sun, warmth and excuse to break out the summer clothes. With summer in mind I want to share a fantastic new summer collection with you.
Over the course of my journey into blogging and business ownership I have met some incredible people and Jeanne is one of the best. She is kind, creative, funny and always inspiring. Her new collection Town and Country is truly amazing. I think that she really outdid herself this time. The lookbook is gorgeous and the products are stunning. I have a wish list a mile long. The collection just went up this week and things are already selling out! Hurry over and take a look and pick a few new things. You’ll be glad you did:)
Here are a few of my faves from the collection.
This week’s theme in my 52 on Fridays group is favorite things and of course the first thing that popped into my mind was Julie Andrews soothing voice singing of girl’s in white dresses, snowflakes and brown paper packages. The Sound Of Music is one of my all time favorite movies and really got the ball rolling for me as I thought about this week’s theme. I thought that I would share with you a few of my favorite things at the moment.
*tiny little arms twined around my neck in a quick embrace
*singing in the car on the rare times that I am alone
*guilty pleasures (Nora Roberts books, “reality” TV like Mob Wives on VH1, sweets)
*chocolate croissants from Trader Joe’s
*tulips popping up in a rainbow of colors in the front yard declaring that spring is finally here
*curling up after a long day with a glossy magazine or thick book
*the glorious sounds of laughter and chatter that accompany the kids when they are actually getting along
*I love yous
*tiptoeing my way into a new career that makes my heart sing and gives me the opportunity to cuddle up with sweet wee ones like this for a little while,
